Stage makeup sucks.

Today was a long day, but at least finals went well, and so did our first performance of "You Have the Right to Remain Dead"... I am so tired! I get to sleep in tomorrow though, and have a full day of nothingness (to write the story of course) and then another performance. The last performance is Sunday, and then I have a concert on Monday, and then my stress is over. For awhile. I mean, pretty soon the boyfriend is going to start working again and we'll be caught up on rides. So after Monday, I'll have pretty much all the time in the world. I think I might post some pictures up on an upcoming blog post after the performances are done, they are adorable!

Anyway, after my finals I had a little bit of time to think and write, and that I did! I got quite an amusing idea after my English final, and it turned out great. I swear, this is the type of story I roll with, even if it's modern. I was telling a friend about it (who is also a writer) and his comment is, "Wow! That's like... 50 genres in one!" It made me giggle. No, I have not let anyone read it yet, except Ryan who oh-so-conveniently reads over my shoulder when I'm typing it on his Word program.

Why his? Because mine doesn't work, even though I bought this computer from the store, my power point, word, excel, etc. do not work. I have to use Word on his laptop, which is okay. It gives him time to read through and peer edit. Not without my permission, of course. He thinks it's great, but he's supposed to think that, he's my boyfriend. I feel like I repeat too many words sometimes, and that there's too much dialogue. It's just the way it looks on the page to me, I don't have super long paragraphs (which annoys the hell out of me, I love those), and I have a ton of dialogue starting their own paragraphs. I suppose that's what rough drafts are for, huh?

So, the first part of chapter three is done. After that I pretty much just blanked, but tomorrow I will have a fresh mind.
